Connecting with veterans is challenging because they don't always self-identify. Come see what we at GateWay Community College have done to connect to the 1 in 10 men and 1 in 100 women who have served. Resources we have developed will be shared along with several initiatives including Battlemarks.org, a digital archive for sharing MCCCD veterans' stories of their military service made visible on their skin through tattooing.
