We exclusively use Class to proctor exams, which is compatible with PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks.
Tablets, iPads, and cell phones are NOT compatible with this service.
Students ARE permitted to use headphones/earbuds during testing sessions.
Students may not use cell phones, smart devices, or other electronics.
Students who join the session agree to be recorded for quality insurance and testing integrity, as well as to show a 360 view of their room.
Joining a session means that you have read & understood DE Proctoring's Terms of Service.

The following settings must be in place PRIOR to joining a testing session:
Google Chrome web browser. You MUST use the current version of Chrome internet browser to take your exam in Blackboard.

Late students will not be admitted into the session.
Please join the session 5 to 10 minutes before the appointment.
If you are late, you will remain in the waiting room. This is NOT due to a technical issue. We are unable to admit students once the testing session has started.
You must have a computer with a webcam, microphone, and speakers. Tablets, iPads, and cell phones are not compatible with this service.
You MUST be able to hear the Proctor, use your chat function, webcam, microphone & share your entire screen. If one or all of these items are not functioning properly, it will result in you being removed from the testing session and you will need to reschedule.
You must use your ACC email to join the session.
You must enter the session with your FULL NAME.
You must know your ACCeID number.
You must show the proctor a physical copy of your school-issued or government photo ID. (ex: Driver’s License, Passport).
Copies, screenshots, credit cards, or other alternatives will NOT be accepted.
The testing session will be recorded for quality assurance and testing integrity purposes.
You will be required to do a room scan of the testing space (including the ceiling, floor, and under their table/desk) to ensure you are alone and do not have unauthorized materials.
There are no breaks, and you must not leave the room; if you need to leave the room during the testing session for any reason, you will submit your test and contact your instructor.
The use of cell phones or other electronic devices is not permitted. You must keep your cell phone off and outside the room while you test.
Accessing test information without authorization is prohibited, including, but not limited to, opening other tabs to view websites other than the Blackboard exam.
Unless authorized by your professor, computer applications outside of the browser you're using for the Class appointment and accessing Blackboard are prohibited (e.g., compilers, editors, and IDEs). Tools embedded in your web browser can not be used, and additional monitors, virtual desktops, and other computing devices are also prohibited. Only the items listed by your instructor as supplemental materials will be permitted.
Watches, sunglasses, brimmed headwear, and hoods (except for religious head apparel) are not permitted; we reserve the right to inspect or have you remove any other headgear.
Failure to adhere to the requirements, terms of services, and instructions provided by the proctor will result in you being removed from the testing session, and you will need to reschedule.
