TexFlex
TexFlex flexible spending accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside money from your paycheck, pre-tax, to pay for eligible health and dependent day care expenses. This reduces your taxable income.
The Maximum amount you can contribute is, $3,050 per year and $5,000 for the dependent care FSA.

You can carry over up to $610 in unused health care funds to the next plan year as long as you are an active employee on August 31 (end of fiscal year).
You have 60 days after first day of employment to adjust the dollar amounts you want to deposit to the account. After that, you have to wait until open enrollment to make any changes.

Bring your completed form to new employee orientation (NEO) and provide it to the Benefits Administrator. If you do not have access to a printer, a blank form will be available at NEO.
