A network-based point-of-service plan available statewide and administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. Choice of more than 50,000 doctors and other providers in-network. A primary care physician (PCP) is required for managing referrals to specialists. 

This plan includes prescription drug coverage administered by OptumRx and $5,000 of Basic Term Life Insurance. 

Available to employees not eligible for Medicare. This plan combines a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) with a tax-free health savings account (HSA). 

 The HSA part of Consumer Directed HealthSelect helps you save money so you are prepared for out-of-pocket health expenses. You do not have to use the money during the plan year, you can save it as long as you want and use it when you decide to. 

The program includes a comprehensive prescription drug program administered by OptumRx
