Each student will be able to effectively use different brush tools to portray blending and texture in an eye.
In this project, each student will be able to:
Blend smooth and accurately to create an iris.
Use an analogous color scheme to blend and digitally paint an eye.
Use the digital brushes in Krita to create texture in and around their eye in whatever way they like.
Accurately reference a realistic eye.
Find a reference of an eye or set of eyes you would like to use to help you draw a realistic eye.
Using an analogous color scheme, practice blending and coloring the iris, keeping darker colors at the top and lighter colors at the bottom of your eye. Add the highlights.
Using a variety of digital art brushes, try to recreate the texture around your eyes (fuzzy/furry, scaley, smooth, slimey, etc.) by placing the values down then painting the texture of choice on top of the values.
