When to Contact
Specialized and adapted for youth with Autism or an intellectual or developmental disability who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and/or regulating behavior who are between the ages of approximately 6-21.

Attend meetings, ask questions, and talk with your student about what supports help them most at school.
Begin learning about community supports
Explore local case management agencies to understand what they offer and when families typically connect—no services are required at this stage.
Build self-advocacy skills at home
Encourage your student to talk about their strengths, challenges, and what helps them succeed in school and daily life.
Keep important records organized
Save copies of evaluations, IEPs, and progress reports these will be helpful as planning for high school and adult services begins.
