Background: Rudy Ledesma was a Cypress High graduate from the class of 2011. He was an active member of the Cypress High Baseball team, and was well-respected by students and staff alike. He earned a baseball scholarship to Cal Baptist University in Riverside in fall of 2011.
Tragically, Rudy’s life was cut short as a result of a fatal car crash in September 2011. Students of Cypress felt the loss. His family is offering a scholarship in his memory. The scholarship is open to all seniors, and the family will review all applications and make a selection. The award will be presented to the recipient on Scholarship night in May.
