What is ROP?Â
Mission Statement
The North Orange County Regional Occupational Program provides high-quality, relevant career technical education, and prepares all students to succeed in employment, career advancement and further education.
North Orange County ROP is a collaborative effort in career technical education by five school districts: Anaheim Union High School District; Brea Olinda Unified School District; Fullerton Joint Union High School District; Los Alamitos Unified School District; and Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), North Orange County ROP offers accredited career technical education coursework and career readiness training to over 15,000 students in six school districts.
ROP holds classes at 25 high schools, 3 junior high schools, 2 middle schools, and 2 ROP facilities. Classes are taught in a wide range of career pathways to serve communities in northern Orange County and nearby portions of Los Angeles County. Cities served include Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Habra, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Placentia, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, Stanton, Whittier, and Yorba Linda
