Explanation of Final Grades:
You are welcome to ask questions to understand why you received a particular grade for 48 hours by email after the issuance of the grade (before it is posted to banner). The grades you receive are based on all of the assignments that you have completed this semester. Your grades are arrived at after careful consideration of your work and the requirements and rubrics attached to each assignment and hence will not be changed or otherwise negotiated regardless of your required GPA to declare/get out of probation or any other considerations apart from your performance in the course. This includes the argument that one point will move you to a higher letter grade.
Once you have been given an explanation, continued requests to raise a grade may be considered trying to gain unfair advantage, which is an infringement of academic integrity.
