Mrs. Leaf is missing you during this virtual time. Keep reading. Keep asking questions. Keep learning.
The library is host to many different clubs throughout the year. Look to the descriptions below or the pull down menu under Clubs in the Library.
This club is for those students in grades 4 and 5 willing to give up one recess a week to come and help organize the library by putting books back on the shelves (in ABC order) and wipe down a variety of surfaces.
These students also help kindergartners or other younger students in the library.
We very much appreciate our Library Helpers!
This club is for grades K-5 and meets usually on Wednesdays in the library. The meeting will run from 3:10-4:15.
Fall Garden Club is about to start. This club will be working OUTSIDE in our school gardens. We will be doing some cooking of vegetables and fruits as well as some herbal concoctions.
The club is open to grades K-5 and parents are welcome to volunteer. If you are interested in Fall Garden Club, please fill out and return the sign-up sheet by Friday Sept. 30. If the club becomes too large it will be broken into two separate groups meeting on opposite weeks.
This club is for those students in grades 4 and 5 willing to attend one day a week after school (This year this will be optional until January and we will work around those in the school play.) to read, discuss and create activities about six books provided by the King County Library. In March there will be an Auburn School District Reading Competition and a South County competition to see who has read and comprehended the book the best.

This club is for students in grades K-5. Students will learn about and have fun with the slimy critters- SLUGS. Slugs don't appeal to everyone, but they do have a purpose and sometimes it is to the detriment of our gardens.
If you are interested in slimy critters join this club. You WILL be holding slugs and doing some crafts, cooking and challenges with slugs.
