Award Amount: over $1 million to more than 60% of applicants
Selection Guidelines:
Senior
Compete at the UIL Academic State Meet (CX debaters must have advanced to the second day of competition) OR qualify as an Outstanding Soloist at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest (TSSEC) OR be a state finalist in the Barbara Jordan Historical Essay Competition or the Latino History Essay Competition least once in high school career (9th - 12th)
Planning to attend a Texas college or university
Enroll full-time in college and maintain a 2.5 GPA
