Hazlewood Act - Legacy Act (Child of a veteran)
Deadline: March 1 - or at/after FAFSA completion-check with university's financial aid office
Award Amount: up to 150 hours of tuition, including most fee charges
Selection Guidelines:
Eligible Veterans may assign unused hours of exemption eligibility to a child under certain conditions.
A child (legacy recipient) must:
Texas resident;
biological child, stepchild, adopted child, or claimed as a dependent
