Go Texas of Henderson County 2025 Academic Scholarship
Deadline: must be postmarked on or before March 1
Selection Guidelines:
The applicant must reside in Henderson County and/or attend an accredited public high school in Henderson County; must graduate by the end of the spring semester immediately following the scholarship award; must be a resident of the state of Texas and a citizen of the United States of America; must be ranked in the upper one half of his/her graduating class; test scores must meet minimum of 950 SAT, 19 ACT, or proof of passing the TSIA in both math and English, must enroll in a Texas college or university. There are no restrictions on major field of study.
Applicant must have been an active member of your local 4-H Club or FFA Chapter in Henderson County for a minimum of three of the four years in high school.

Bullock Visual Arts Scholarship Application (2025)

Guidelines for applying to the Bullock Visual Arts Scholarship:
Eligibility:
Applicants must be graduating seniors from a high school in Henderson County.
Applicants must be planning to major in the Visual Arts studies
Applicants must be planning to attend any accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, vocational school, etc.).
Scholarship Amount:
$1000 total, split into two $500 payments for the fall and spring semester.

Official high school transcript.
Two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or community leaders.
A digital portfolio containing samples of your work
A personal essay (500-750 words) addressing the following:
Your academic and extracurricular achievements.
Your educational and career goals.

Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning or a trade school.
You must live with parents or legal guardians who are members and receive electric service from TVEC at their primary residence. TVEC will verify the proof of residency.

Heaton Eye Care Medical Scholarship
DUE: March 14, 2025
Heaton Eye Associates is pleased to be able to support our local community. This year, we’ll be giving back to local high school or college-age students who are interested in pursuing a medical career. Two scholarships will be given away in the amount of $1,000 each.
Applicants must “LIKE” us on Facebook and “Follow” us on Instagram and complete an application online between February 19th and March 14th.
Applications will be judged by a panel, and winners will be chosen based on the strength of their essays, creativity, extracurricular activities, and extenuating circumstances.
