The 2025 GM2 Foundation Scholarship
The 2025 GM2 Foundation Scholarship is a one-time $1,500 scholarship awarded to a student who shows achievement and perseverance in academics, extra-curricular activities and the community. The only two criteria for this scholarship are 1) an East Texas* high school senior with at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 point scale, and 2) the student must attend a two (2) year junior college in East Texas*. The GM2 Foundation hopes to identify a student who is well-rounded, has a desire to achieve a bachelor’s degree, and will use the GM2 Foundation Scholarship as a springboard for advancement and ultimately, paying it forward. However, there is no ‘model’ student for this scholarship.
(*) GM2’s East Texas includes the following counties: Anderson, Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Delta, Franklin, Freestone, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Hopkins, Houston, Lamar, Leon, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rains, Red River, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Trinity, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood.
