Early Learning PRT’s
As part of the induction process, trained ASV Induction and Mentoring Officers will conduct formative observations to assess the quality of teaching practices and student learning and experiences. This will be used to facilitate coaching conversations designed to develop and improve classroom culture and quality of teaching and learning.
Primary and Secondary PRT’s
Trained ASV Induction and Mentoring Officers will use the EBO App, complete an EBO form or an Instruction Coaching Observation form during a lesson observation, as a process for recording the observation and gathering data about specific teacher behaviour/language and student engagement. This will then be used to facilitate a coaching discussion designed to develop and improve classroom culture and quality of teaching and learning.
Classroom observations and the cycle of professional conversations that follow an observation clearly assists teachers to grow. These observations are linked directly with the AITSL Standards providing clear feedback for future development and growth. .
