Teaching sync
Welcome to Sync
ASU Sync is the term for live, digital classes, wherever. Basically, some or all of the class experience can be experienced online in order to meet the dynamic needs of our students.
The cornerstone of Sync is flexibility. Sync will ultimately be whatever works for you and your students. Visit the provost site for additional resources.
I think Sync is here to stay. This site has resources about Teaching in Sync.
What is sync?
Sync is how we can continue teaching and learning no matter where we all are.
As long as you meet the needs of all of your students, you have the freedom to make Sync your own!
There are three parts to consider. In-person students, Online Synchronous students, and Online Asynchronous students.

It is worth pointing out the versatility of Canvas. Canvas can be used for delivering content (pages), assessing knowledge (assignments and quizzes), and engaging with others (discussions). Uses "Modules" to organize the content and deliver the best online component of your course.
