What are SGSUP FAculty BAdges?

This suite of badges is issued from SGSUP Faculty Badges on badgr based on self-assessment. They serve as evidence of the following pillars of teaching in-person and online:

Instructor Presence (online)

Learning Objectives (in-person and online)

Community Building (in-person and online)

Flipped Classroom (in-person)

Open Educational Resources (in-person and online)

What can I do with them?

You can use them on your ASU profile, add them to your LinkedIn, Tweet them, and put them in the Meet Your Instructor page in Canvas. Use them to demonstrate your excellence in teaching.

Instructions

Select from the available faculty badges. There are no limits to how many badges you can claim.

Take the self-assessment. If you select four or more of the six criteria, you will be eligible for the badge. Badges are currently emailed, and the process time is one to two days. If you do not qualify for the badge, use the criteria as a list of possible strategies you can take. For more information please contact lucy.wolski@asu.edu
