Welcome to Module 6: Engaging External HEI Stakeholders!
This module serves to help you explore and develop strategies to engage and partner with external stakeholders. During this module, you will engage with readings and videos to participate in a discussion and complete activities.
Please begin by watching the M6 Overview Video to learn about Module 6's goals and activities.
This module addresses the following outcomes:
Analyze best practices for developing mutually beneficial employer partnerships. (C.O. 2, 4 & 6)
Identify current and potential public and private sector employer partners. (C.O. 1, 2 & 4)
Identify gaps in current employer development and partnership strategies. (C.O. 1, 2 & 4)
Review budgeting skills and approaches and explore revenue-generating events and services. (C.O. 5 & 6)
Create a 1-year engagement plan for each type of partner (alumni, private employer, public employer, community members or organizations). (C.O. 2, 4 & 6)
To guide you through this module, please consider the following essential question before engaging in Module 6's content and activities:

Meet with your instructional team and peers through Google Meets every other week on Wednesdays from 4:00–5:00 PM (EAT) to ask questions, discuss module-specific significant learnings, and to get clarification on activity details.
These meetings are optional and therefore, your participation is not required. However, if you need to miss a meeting and would like to review what was discussed, you can watch the recorded meeting at a later time; the recorded Google Meets Office Hours for Module 6 will be uploaded here after the meeting has concluded on Wednesday, July 20th.
