Welcome to Module 5: Engaging Internal HEI Stakeholders!
This module serves to help you explore and develop best practices for engaging colleagues (e.g., leadership, faculty, administrators, student leaders) to support students’ holistic development and success. During this module, you will engage with readings and videos to participate in a discussion and complete activities.
Please begin by watching the M5 Overview Video to learn about Module 5's goals and activities.
This module addresses the following outcomes:
Identify the benefits of peer mentoring for support and leadership. (C.O. 1 & 4)
Describe local best practices for engaging various internal stakeholders (e.g., leadership, faculty, administrators, student leaders). (C.O. 1 & 4)
Create a specific plan with incentives for engagement activities within the next semester, year, and/or long-term or recurring events or collaborative activities. (C.O. 5 & 6)
To guide you through this module, please consider the following essential question before engaging in Module 5's content and activities:
"How can I engage with internal stakeholders to develop meaningful activities and programs that will lead to greater student success?"
