Career Services Professional Preparation- Summer 2022

WELCOME!

To the Ethiopia Integrated Youth Activity (Kefeta) Career Services Professional Preparation Program. This Career Services course has been made possible by the generous support of the American people through USAID.

COURSE OUTCOMES

The ultimate goal of this course is to create a long term, sustainable professional development plan to support your higher education career service delivery and management skills.

To support you in achieving this goal, you will engage with the following course outcomes (C.O.):

Identify best practices in career service delivery and management.
Enhance their career service professionals’ networks (cohort-based model for learners employed at HEIs across Ethiopia).
Describe and apply theoretical frameworks relevant to working with students’ career development.
Identify and demonstrate skills used in successful career services practices (e.g., helping, employability, leadership, supervision, and management).
Use data to support and guide decision-making regarding event planning and service delivery.
Create a detailed professional development plan including materials and resources for a long term, sustainable curriculum.
