Welcome to Module 4: Career Services Management Skills and Strategies!
This module serves to help you explore and develop leadership skills and management best practices related to career services operations and service delivery. During this module, you will engage with readings and videos to participate in a discussion and complete activities.
Please begin by watching the M4 Overview Video below to learn about Module 4.
This module addresses the following outcomes:
Develop strategies for career services leaders in relation to:
(a) service delivery and program planning and implementation
(b) supervision, organization, training, and team development. (C.O. 4)
Evaluate personal qualities and characteristics related to leadership and management skills and identify resources for continued development. (C.O. 4 & 6)
Survey current career services environment and identify opportunities for additional or improved service delivery options, modalities, and/or programming. (C.O. 1 & 4)

"How can I continue to develop my communication and helping skills to support the growth and goal-setting of students from diverse backgrounds??"

Meet with your instructional team and peers through Google Meets every other week on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM (EAT) to ask questions, discuss module-specific significant learnings, and to get clarification on activity details.
These meetings are optional and therefore, your participation is not required. However, if you need to miss a meeting and would like to review what was discussed, you can watch the recorded meeting at a later time; the recorded Google Meets Office Hours for Module 4 will be uploaded here after the meeting has concluded on Wednesday, July 13.
