As part of our continued professional learning goals, all current teachers are required to complete the Google Certified Educator (Level 1) exam. At ASM, we use Google apps for education and having a working knowledge of these tools for teaching and learning is necessary.  Google, as usual, has made it easy to learn and take the exam at your own pace.  If you are not already certified, your next steps will be to follow along with the Google Level 1 Certification fundamentals course if you would like to and take the exam when ready.

For our non-teaching staff, we are using Applied Digital Skills lessons to further our proficiency with Google tools for the workplace. In order to support our non-teaching staff, the EdTech team has created a course populated with several lessons on Google tools, communication and organizational skills. 

Each lesson includes video tutorials and activities and is meant to be completed at your own pace.  Once you have completed all of the lessons in the class, feel free to explore some of the other skill lessons provided such as resume building and event planning.

Once you have completed either level 1 or level 2, please upload your certificate to bamboo and tick the box in the Personal tab in bamboohr.
