You have the option to open a Spanish bank account with the assistance of MTS. You will have an English-speaking contact at the bank. MTS will put you in contact with a branch manager. 

You will be able to get your documentation ready and visit a bank in the city upon your arrival to open and activate your account as well as get your credit card.

You need a Spanish bank account so that ASM can pay you by bank transfer monthly. You will also need a Spanish bank account to link payments for your home utilities, and mobile phone and to make transfers nationally. Once you have your bank account number, please send it to MTS. They will facilitate your number to ASM.

 For a NON-RESIDENT account, you'll need:

1. Passport, or National ID (for countries from the Eurozone)

2. Proof of current employment situation. (Latest pay slip, work contract, or tax payment document). In your case, your work contract

3. Your Tax number in the country you are currently paying taxes

4. A recent utility bill from your last address as a resident (gas, water, electricity, phone)

5. Full address before moving to Spain

6. Email address

7. Telephone number

Para una cuenta de NO RESIDENTES, será necesario:

1. Pasaporte (o ID de su país, en caso de ser miembro de la UE).

2. Prueba de la situación laboral actual. (Último comprobante de nómina, contrato de trabajo o pago impuestos de su país actual) cualquiera de los tres.

3. Numero identificación Fiscal de su país de residencia actual.

4. Algún justificante del domicilio del país donde últimamente ha residido (recibo de agua, gas, luz, teléfono)
