ASE not functioning as expected. Some updates aren't working

Startup Suite Conflict 

Remember that no other version of ASE Civil may exist in the AutoCAD Startup Suite with the beta version. Unload any other versions of ASE Civil from the Startup Suite.

Executable Folder 

Also, ensure that the “AseCivil17.vlx” is being loaded from “C:\AseApps\AseCivil17” and not from the previous standard location in “C:\Program Files\AseCivil17”

CUIX Conflict 

Check that the correct CUIX is loaded. In version 17.14.2.480 hundreds of changes occurred in the user interface. Any CUIX other than the CUIX distributed in the beta version will not work reliably. Most commands may work fine, however a portion of them will yield the "Unknown command" error.

Also, if a large portion of the ribbon images are not displaying properly, that may also be an indication that the wrong CUIX is loaded.
