When ASE Civil has successfully initialized it's environment inside the current editing session, look for this message in the AutoCAD/Civil 3D command line prompt history.

These messages are built into ASE Civil's loading process. They were designed to help the end-user to verify that ASE was able to successfully connect the current drawing to an ASE project..

If there are any problems during ASE Civil's initialization process, they should show up here.

Manual Initialization

Initialization happens once at the beginning of the editing session, when the first ASE Civil command is invoked. Initialization may be invoked explicitly via the ribbon command or it may occur automatically when a command is invoked and ASE's system has not yet been initialized.
