Thymoquinone NLC: This project has been concluded.

Thymoquinone  is a small, potent molecule that has natural origins, but it is a broad spectrum inhibitor, which means its most potent when combined with another drug. Here, loading thymoquinone and a second, potent drug into nanolipid carriers could provide an effective treatment to certain cancers through ROS production. Developing quantification methods, characterizing, and testing the nanocarriers will be a focus of this project as it develops. Furthermore, elucidating the formulations anticancer mechanism through computational analysis are being conducted.
