Absences

~ Illness ~

If a student misses class due to being ill, they will have the same amount of time they were absent to make up the homework they missed. Therefore, if they miss two school days, they have an additional two school days to get the work completed and turned in.

~ Vacations ~

Vacations are usually planned ahead of time. Therefore, I ask for a week notice to put together any missing work. Students should be prepared to turn in all their missing work the first day after returning from vacation but additional time will be allowed on a case by case basis.

Make sure you check in with all the specialist teachers (art, gym, library, music, Spanish) to find out what their policy is for missed work.
