Throughout the year, 6th graders will be required to read a total of 12 books connected to their SpringBoard curriculum. Each Unit in SpringBoard has a specific list of books for the students to choose from. I have attached the list of books for you to see to this page.
The expectation for each quarter is for them to read three books, two of which are from the "Literature" list and one from the "Informational/Nonfiction" list. In order to successfully complete the goal of 12 books for the year, students should be reading one book every two-three weeks.
All of these directions and expectations have been discussed with 6th graders and they are aware of what they need to do.
