My submission name is <Apocalypse Survival 101: Solve the Trivia!>.
What is your submission about and how does it relate to the APOCALYPSE theme?
In this competition, my project is a trivia game with the theme of 'Zombie Apocalypse'. Here, the player chooses one of the two presented characters and survives from the zombie hordes by solving fun quiz questions on several topics. There are 3 suggested rounds on the main screen, and then it leads you to a screen of first solving 3 problems with unlimited chance, and then the remaining 2 problems determine your victory or death/game over. The reason this has to do with apocalypse is that the more you solve the problem, the more the character can run away from the zombies, and thus choose whether or not the player ends up facing the apocalypse as a zombie.
What tools did you utilize to create your submission?
To create the submission successfully, I have used Thunkable, an app creation platform, and Youtube, where you can browse videos. First of all, as someone new to Thunkable, I needed to gain some knowledge of block coding and building a quiz app with the technique. So, after browsing some YouTube tutorials from other creators using Thunkable to do something similar to what I'm trying to do, I started planning an overall outline. Since then, all work has been done exclusively on Thunkable, and the images used in the design are credited at the end of the game as they were taken from the internet.
What do you want to showcase about your submission?
I would like to showcase my overall game screens, questions, and block codings I have done, and below in this file, there are some photos of it.
