What is your submission about and how does it relate to the APOCALYPSE theme?

It is a proof of concept for an overhaul to a mod to the game FTL. So far, I have laid a lot of the groundwork and implemented a few features, including a lot of events that change from sector to sector and an ending to the game.

It's apocalyptic because it takes place in the very grim future of FTL: Multiverse.
