At the start of our IDL projects, we worked on the resources that would be required in the event of an apocalypse. We then came up with ideas that were linked to specific apocalypses. Through an 'I like' and 'I wonder' event, we added to our examples and scenarios, this formed the base for our projects .

We brainstormed the attributes that made for a successful team and then stated our preferences for which attributes we thought would contribute to the group. The group dynamic was organised so that each attribute was represented amongst the group members.

Visit from Aberdeen Science Centre
Dr. Bob from Aberdeen Science Centre met with pupils as they worked on their Zombie Apocalypse and posed questions, scenarios and answers to their pre prepared questions.
Bob also shared that Aberdeen has a Zombie extermination service that currently has a 100% success rate!
