Project Overview
In this IDL, pupils have been investigating light and colour. They have developed observation skills through al fresco sketching experiences and their understanding of colour through Isaac Newton's work on colour mixing. Pupils have worked with a local optician to learn more about how we see colour and common eye defects. Pupils have also worked with primary pupils in our local primary school to support them on their work on light and shadows. In this IDL, pupils then presented their project on light and colour through an end of project showcase to a range of visitors including; primary pupils, primary teachers, class teachers, SLT, and visiting inspectors.
