Field trips are a valuable part of the educational experience at Arundel Christian School and are planned throughout the year to enhance learning and foster community. Some trips will include the entire Lower School student body, while others may be specific to a particular grade level or age group.
While many field trips are designed with academic objectives in mind, others are simply opportunities for students to bond, explore, and enjoy time together outside the classroom.
Cost & Participation
Field trips are funded by families and generally include the cost of admission and transportation.
Additional fees may apply depending on the specific trip. For example, if a venue does not permit outside food, students may be required to purchase lunch on-site or cover other related expenses.
Permission slips and payment details will be sent home prior to each trip.
Chaperones
When space allows, parents are encouraged to join us as chaperones. Each permission slip will indicate if chaperone spots are available and what the associated cost will be.
Field Trip Attendance Policy
Field trips are considered an official part of the school day and are not optional.
Students who do not attend a scheduled field trip will be marked unexcused for that day.
Students may not remain at school if they are not participating in the field trip.
