We will be OUTSIDE every day weather permits - so please plan attire accordingly (it can get pretty hot on the turf!)
PHILOSOPHY
The Physical Education and Health Curriculum align with the Massachusetts State Frameworks. The Health Program is presented to the students through 15 class periods throughout the school year in conjunction with Physical Education. The Physical Education and Health classes work to address the social and academic expectations set forth in Arlington High School’s mission statement. The specific objectives addressed are:
Develop the tools and strategies to resolve disagreements and conflicts.
Make informed, responsible judgements regarding their personal, emotional, and physical well-being.
Learn by application.
Demonstrate integrity, persistence, and the ability to work independently and cooperatively.
