The Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum framework comprises eight subject groups, providing a broad and balanced education for twenty-first century scholars.  Here at D.M. Therrell, we incorporate six of the eight subject groups.  The six subject groups are:

• Arts

• Language Aquisition

• Language & Literature

• Indiviuals & Societies

• Mathematics

• Science

The Programme requires at least 50 hours of International Baccalaureate instructional time for each subject group, in each year of enrollment. D.M. Therrell's ninth and tenth grade students will enter years four and five of the programme, respectively.  In the final two years, carefully-defined, subject group flexibility allows students to meet local requirements and personal learning goals.
