Dual Credit
WHAT IS DUAL CREDIT?
Dual Credit was created for high school students to experience college level or CTE courses available through post-secondary schools. Enrolling in dual credit courses gives students the ability to receive both high school and college credit upon successful completion of the course. This type of experience has shown positive outcomes toward high school graduation and college enrollment throughout the country. CNM, UNM and IAIA offer dual credit courses to eligible APS students. Additionally, some high schools offer dual credit courses through CNM on their campuses. These courses are taught by a certified CNM instructor.
