Hello! I have been involved in various leadership positions and digital integration over the last 14 years as a classroom teacher. At Jefferson MS, I worked with elementary and high school teachers to create essay rubrics that vertically aligned with curriculum at all levels. I created my own curriculum for Spanish language arts at the middle school level at Jefferson as well. As a e-teacher with the state, I designed lessons that integrated with Blackboard and managed asynchonous online classes. After moving to Del Norte HS, I became department chair and as department we created common assessments and unit plans using the framework for "Understanding by Design." At Sandia High School, I managed the website and trained teachers in Google Applications for Education, earning my Google Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. I also completed the Digital Innovator Program with Albuqueque Public Schools during the 2018-19 school year. I have sometimes been described as "tenacious" in my pursuit of learning new technologies and pedagogy.
