Committees & Topics

We're excited to offer 8 committees this year! The two largest committees, the General Assembly and the Human Rights Council, will hold their sessions in the New Mexico House and Senate chambers, respectively.

The Security Council, the Disarmament & International Security Committee (DISEC), the World Health Organization, the UN Environmental Assembly, International Count of Justice (ICJ) and the Economic & Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) will hold their sessions in legislative conference rooms on the 3rd floor of the Roundhouse.

School Delegation Assignments

Schools were assigned countries based on the size of last year's delegation and their estimated attendance this year.

Each country is represented in every committee, with the exception of the Security Council. Maximum delegation sizes for each committee are:

General Assembly: 3 delegates
Human Rights Council, DISEC, World Health Organization, Security Council: 2 delegates each
ECOFIN, UNEA, ICJ: 1 delegate each
