Students that miss class time and would like to make up for that time missed may turn in up to 6 of the following article assignments so 1 writing counts towards 1 class. Extra credit will be given for each paper written worth 1 day of participation.

If you miss a gym class any days past 10 days, you can earn up to 3 pts towards participation and up to 30 pts total. 10 days are allowed with no point deduction, but anything passed students are deducted 3 pts per day. Days in "out of school" or "in school suspension" will result in 3 pt deduction and doing these make ups will allow for make ups in this area or if students are given an alternative assignment that will also substitute daily point credits. Must be turned in before last month of the semester ending. A 200 word google doc response paper can be submitted in our gym class google classroom titled "Make ups" with Name, date, exact title of the video watched with link. The youtube videos from Dr. Michael Greger M.D. who has great background in Nutrition can be watched and you respond to what you learned in your 200 word response paper.
