I was born in Quincy, CA. I was raised in Imperial Valley California as well as Las Vegas New Mexico. Growing up I was inspired by many athletic coaches, teachers, adults, and family who shaped who I am today. Although I am an enthusiast of all sports, games, and physical activities. Prior to teaching I've participated in many sports for and competitively including water polo, badminton, soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, team handball, golf, racquetball, tennis, football, ultimate frisbee, and more. I graduated from The University of New Mexico. I have been teaching for 10 years in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho as a PE teacher and I am a Level III National Board Certified Teacher in this content area. All this has inspired me to to be the role model for my students that I had when I was growing up and share my knowledge and experience to inspire youth as a Physical Educator today. I love veggies and fruit, but pizza gets its time on my plate when I can. I love watching Big Bang Theory and Documentaries. I love music of classical, modern rock bands, rap, hip-hop, pop country, some old country, raggae, some spanish music, and others! I love traveling, but I don't like flying. I have been to Germany, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Hawaii, and almost all the states. I was given the Sidney Poitier award within my career for being able to connect and impact all walks of life. I take pride in the relationships I build with everyone.

The West Coast has so many hiking trails. I enjoy getting outdoors where the fresh air is at.

Jax is my little dog who is a 49ers fan due to my wife.

This is Cooper, he usually has 5 times the energy I do so he keeps me on my toes when he visits from my in laws.

I am not formally educated in Astronomy, but I am very interested in the topic and the future of the Universe. 

I have always been a basketball fan. I was a 4 year letterman in basketball. I played 2 years at Holtville High School and 2 years at West Las Vegas High School. I was SG for Freshman, PG for JV, and Varsity. Then when I moved to WLV High School I was PF position. 

I am a NFL Chargers fan because I grew up visiting San Diego often living 45 minutes away in Imperial Valley. Now they are in LA which is great! I played PeeWee football and I played my freshman year of high school in Holtville where I was QB for Freshman, RB for JV, and SS for Varsity.
