The Undergraduate Bulletin is an online reference that is your user’s manual for college, helping you understand university requirements, course descriptions, and policies. Click on the Undergraduate Bulletin that corresponds with your catalog year. In most cases, your catalog year is the academic year in which you started at Appalachian.
The Undergraduate Course Catalog is an online tool that allows students to search the different types of courses that they may be interested in taking or need to take for their major. Each class will have a short blurb that describes what the class is about, how many credit hours it is, what semesters the class is offered, and any pre-requisites, co-requisites, or restrictions that may be applicable to the student. To locate the course catalog first find the undergraduate bulletin that corresponds with your catalog year. In most cases, your catalog year is the academic year in which you started at Appalachian. Once you have done so click on "courses" and that will bring you to the courses catalog.
University College Academic Advising is responsible for the transition and academic advising for main campus, undeclared, degree-seeking undergraduate students at Appalachian State University. This office introduces students to the University’s academic and co-curricular opportunities. They advise and collaborate with students as they navigate the curriculum and develop their educational plans.
