The Data Team has a new process for Data Requests.Data Requests can be submitted through Let's Talk. There is a Data Request option under SCSD Employees. This allows the Data Team to efficiently monitor requests and ensure timelines are met.
Please encourage families to fill out the Digital Equity Survey. The link can be found on the SCSD Website. What is the purpose of this survey? To best serve students, families, and educators, it is imperative that NYSED has an accurate picture of the state of digital equity for New York students and teachers. This data will be used on an ongoing basis throughout the year to help identify specific needs and target resources and funding opportunities when they become available.
Here is a list of the newest data visualizations administrators have access to. Please reach out if you have questions or need help

Transportation continues to work closely with our school bus vendors to fight the spread of viruses. Vendor staff are trained and directed to use a Protexus sprayer in conjunction with a Purtab solution to disinfect the busses. This process is completed in-between bus routes and at the end of the day for a final time to ensure they are properly disinfected. If needed, masks are also handed out prior to boarding the bus.
Reminder : Transportation guidelines are 1 Mile for elementary students and 1.5 miles for middle and high school. We understand that changing schools may be a challenge to some children as they may be unfamiliar with the direction of travel, so please assist them to practice the safest and most efficient way to walk to their stop or to school.
Reminder: Busses have a 10 MINUTE window. That means the bus can arrive at your stop 10 minutes early or may run 10 minutes after the assigned time. Please have your students at their stops with this in mind.
The Transportation Department has updated its phone directory on our main line. Please listen to all of our options listed to ensure you are making the correct selection. For Brown press – 1, Durham – 2, Northland – 3, Amazing Grace – 4, CDTA – 5, Capital Bus – 6. This system allows students, parents or guardians to directly transfer to their bus company for questions regarding pick up/drop off, lost items and other vendor-related questions. There is also option - 7 to connect with a transportation representative and it includes an option (8) for closures and delays.
Registration remains by appointment only. With Covid still surging, we are limited as our waiting area can hold only one family at a time. Please tell parents to call 518-881-3771 for an appointment,
Gearing up for online registration soon, more to follow!!
Registration will be closed for the Winter break 12/24 through 01/02. Reopening 1/3/22
