What's ILHS Earth Day?
The ILHS Earth Day event 2024 is on April 17th. The entire day is dedicated to learning about our planet, how to take action against climate change and pollution, and protect our local and global environments. We will have guest speakers from, various volunteer organizations and nonprofits, our very own ILHS clubs and students, and activities like trail clean-ups and soil and water testing. We hope students will learn new things and gain an appreciation for Earth’s systems and environments, and more about what they can do to help!
Earth Day is student-organized every year, from inviting guest speakers and student presenters to putting together the schedule to preparing the salad bar for lunch!

Volunteers Needed!
We need adult volunteers to assist with supervision and getting attendance on Earth Day! Times are broken up into shifts, so you don't need to stay the whole day, though you are invited to.
