Bird's Eye Views are surveys run by ASB to gauge general student opinion on topics and issues around ILHS! Bird's Eye Views are always anonymous, and we use the results do determine how to proceed and what to do in order to support students and our school the most!
These results are shared anonymously on the Student Page (here!) and the schoology group, and may be used by the Lab Report student newspaper.

Recently, staff decided to move student projects and surveys from the Bird Call into a separate slide deck that is not presented during Crew in order to save Crew time. If you agree or disagree with this, please state your opinion below!
ASB is looking for student input; we want to know what you think, and if we should advocate for the return of the project slides.
Here are some of the arguments for each side that we have heard so far:
Returning to the Bird Call:
Student projects are a core component of ILHS and student culture, if we remove those from the spotlight, we're making everyone less involved
Project slides inspire students and gives examples of possibilities
The project slides are a form of student recognition
Keeping them separate:
The Bird Call takes up most of Crew time when it has so many slides
Students that are interested in projects can still look at the project slide deck
The links and surveys make it take much longer to get through
