Resources
From our paper-cutter to our Study Hall, here are some resources for your projects and learning
Tea Corner
If yo ever need a cozy break and some tea, you need the tea corner! Located on the third floor by the ASB room and across from the up stairwell is a cozy spot with bean bag chairs, tea, mugs, and fabrics from the ceiling pillow-fort style.
Make sure when you use the tea corner to always return your mug to the corner's drying mat after you wash it.

The Paper Cutter
We have a very cool paper cutter in the ASB room. We use it to make posters and decorations for the school. While it's not open for anyone to use, ASB does accept requests! If you need something cut out, shapes, words, letters, tags, we can help! Just shoot us an email at innovationlabasb@gmail.com with your request (send over a PNG of what you need cut out if you have one!) and your crew leader's name and we'll cut it out and drop it off at your crew room!
Example email:
"Hello, I need some medium sized raven bird cut outs in black or red paper for a project. My crew leader is Amy Baker. Thanks!"
Printing in Color
While we don't have a color printer at school (I'm 79% sure), our school has access to the NSD Graphics Department and can submit requests for printing. If you need to have something printed in color, email Kelly, our Office Manager, at kduhamel@nsd.org
https://www.nsd.org/our-district/departments/graphics
On this site, you'll find information about what you can print.
Piano
We have a piano on the north end of the Great Hall by the whiteboards. This was generously donated by Rain Waggoner in 2022! You are welcome to use it, but please keep in mind the following rules (also found on the piano):
Piano Guidelines:
1. Remain socially aware. Maybe bring headphones near large groups of people.
2. Stay sanitary
3. No food or drinks near the piano
4. Make sure to watch your time wisely. Other people may want to play
5. Be considerate of classes nearby.
Opportunity Board
Looking for volunteering opportunities, scholarships, projects to join, and more? Check out the Opportunity Board!
Maker Space
The Maker Space is located outside of Ms. Clare's room on the first floor. The materials in the Maker space are all donated. Please feel free to use them for your projects! Please follow these rules to stay safe and keep the space nice for everyone to use:
Be safe with supplies
Don’t eat food while using makerspace supplies [helps keep makerspace clean and prevents accidentally eating supplies]
Reduce waste from supplies-- reuse whenever you can
Ask before taking supplies out of the makerspace area
Do not make weapons and do not use things as weapons
Clean up your area afterwards
If you aren’t sure how to use something, ask
Study Hall After School
Library Printer
We have a printer in the library (located on the south end of the Great Hall). All school-issued chrome books have that printer already as a printing option!
Nurse's Office/Health Room:
We have an amazing nurse Malia Yoder! Malia is at our school everyday from 8AM - 1PM. She is located in the back corner of the lunch room. If she is not here you can go to the front desk and they can assist you.
