First Day of School is next Wednesday, September 3rd! Check the schedule tab :)
Only Clubs can request funds or have fundraisers! Want your interest group to become a club? Email Xander Peachey (Clubs and Activity Liaison) at 2029378@apps.nsd.org !
On any Flex Wednesday, simply choose the club you want to join via synergy slot A or B, and show up! More detailed information can be found by asking that club's president or advisor.
Clubs meet on Wednesdays during slots A or B (Periods 9 or 13). Some clubs may also meet after school or online!
First, decide if you want to start a Raven ASB Club or a Red Club. A Raven ASB club is an ASB funded activity group, so this allows you to raise money for projects and supplies. An red club is an activity group that is not sponsored by ASB, so if you need funds, you'll need to find sponsors or raise your own without being associated with ASB. Raven ASB clubs are expected to fundraise as well, but may be granted money to start them off to be able to organize fundraisers.
Then, find a group of at least three people that are also interested as well as a teacher to advise your club, and present your idea to the ASB. We'll ask for a purpose statement, fundraising plan, and plan for spending money if applicable.
Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for students to start and get involved in clubs! If you ever get confused, please stop by an ASB meeting (we meet on Fridays after school) or email us at innovationlabasb@gmail.com!
Do I want a Raven ASB Club or a Red Club? (If club, email innovationlabasb@gmail.com, and start drafting fundraiser ideas)
Find 3 other people to join your club/interest group
Find an advisor (staff/teacher) and a time slot (A or B)
Make sure your club/interest group is added to the attendance form by talking with your advisor
Get started!
