A Little Bit About Me

My name is Susan Ramones. I go by Susan, Ms. Ramones or Prof. Ramones - use what you are most comfortable with. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I have a biology degree from UC Davis in Zoology and a Masters Degree in Biological Conservation from Sac State. Like most of you, I play a lot of roles in my life. I’m a working mom of teenagers, a scientist, a bat biologist, a teacher. I love being outside, reading, and spending time with friends. 

I have been teaching at ARC for 10 years…I'm comfortable teaching online (I was doing it before the pandemic!), but I really, really love teaching in the classroom and am excited to work with you in-person.

Part of the reason I love teaching is to learn a bit of your story. I know you have something unique and interesting to bring to this class and I look forward to learning more about each of you.
