1. Check the math homework calendar. The targets we cover each day will be listed on the day we covered them. They will be listed by an alpha numeric code. The Number at the beginning of the code tells you what chapter the targets are from.
2. Go to my YouTube channel and click on the chapter playlist that corresponds to the videos listed for the day(s) you missed. (Video 1.2A is in chapter 1. Video 2.4A in the chapter 2 playlist.)
3. Watch each video and complete the pause problems —I will tell you to stop the video and try a problem. When you resume the video, I will give you the answer. Also complete the ticket to the show problems at the end of the video. Do these neatly in your math notebook. Label the target at the top of the page.
4. Click on the Worksheets banner above. Look for the worksheet(s) that correspond to the video. They will have the same alpha-numeric code. Spend Approximately 30 minutes practicing the target you just learned on the video. You don't need to print the notes or worksheets out, but you can if you want. I would just practice them in your notebook right below your video notes.
5. Show Mr. Dudley your video work and practice work. I will then let you take the quiz.
6. Video work and target practice must be completed before a student can take the chapter test.
Please remember....this program is just like school. We will not cover these targets during the school year. I understand that student will have to miss days. However, I also need to do my job and have you make up the work you missed.
I think students learn most effectively in the classroom setting. However, my YouTube Channel and Google site are designed to help students learn/practice each target.
All work due to absences must be turned in by August 5.
