Wendy McNamee Scholarship for a graduating EHS Senior who attended DHMS

The annual Dakota Hills Wendy McNamee scholarship is awarded annually via money raised by the Parent Booster Club and given to a recipient as part of the Eagan Foundation Scholarship program. This is a $750 one time scholarship given to a student who is graduating from Eagan High School.

This scholarship was created to honor the work of Wendy McNamee who served as a teacher and administrator at Dakota Hills from 1989 to 2005. Wendy McNamee served as the Principal of Dakota Hills Middle School as the culmination of her career. She retired in 2005 and the Parent Booster Club honored her work by establishing an annual $750 scholarship. A condition of the scholarship is that it be given to a person who meets the following criteria:

1) Attended Dakota Hills Middle School

2) Will eventually graduate from Eagan High School
