Sometimes teachers need a little bit of help with extra funds to support their education program. With this grant, we are able to support some of their needs in the class like new science experiment sets, books, eye coordination games, fitness equipment and math games to mention a few.
Beginning in 2015, and planned as an annual program, the PBC has been offering grants to teachers at Dakota Hills Middle School.
The grants are expected to range between $100 - $500, although larger grants will be considered.
Grant applications will be scored based on the following criteria:
● Relates directly to student learning and growth
● Strengthens the curriculum with the development of innovative programs
● Enhances the educational resources available to students
● Provides enduring value for teachers and/or students
In May of 2025, the DHMS Parent Booster Club awarded $6,000.00 in mini-grant awards to teachers.
