Applause Hands & Flower Sales

Our drama department artists deserve to be  appreciated by their family and friends each year. Help them grow by acknowledging their wonderful performances.

This activity centers around the two DHMS plays per year; one in the fall and the other, a musical, in the spring. There are three components to this fundraiser:

1. Selling Roses

This is a way for family and friends to present the rose to the play participant following the performance.

2. Selling Applause Hands

Family and friends write a thoughtful message to the play participant and hangs the applause hand on a large banner. Right before the play begins, the banner is hung by the stairs of the theater for all to see when the performance ends.

3. Selling Candy Bars and Waters during intermission.

Candy bars and water are sold half an hour before the play or musical begins.

All profits collected at this fundraiser are split between the PBC and the theater department.
